Board Room Table

For this 14-foot juniper board room table, Matt located a dead-standing juniper tree in Arizona's Sitgreaves National Forest, felled it himself and created this spectacular table of book-matched juniper slabs joined with butterfly tenons.  The table has live edges on the two long sides, has a slab-constructed angular base and a hand-rubbed oil finish.  It can be seen in the members' clubhouse at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain near Tucson, Arizona.  (168"L x 60"W x 27.5"H x 3"D)

Tree Branch Sink

This spectacular powder room countertop and sink basin was created from alligator juniper with a tree-branch screen of Utah juniper.  The lavatory components were finished with six coats of two-part marine-quality epoxy.  This piece was a custom design for Eagle's Nest, a log residence at Hidden Meadow Ranch, a luxury lodge and club in the White Mountains of Arizona.

Twisted Game Tables & Chairs

The swirling bases of these game tables were created from Utah juniper.  The table tops are alligator juniper with maple and walnut inlaid game boards.  The chairs are alligator and Utah juniper as well.  These sets can be seen in the fractional-ownership log homes at Hidden Meadow Ranch, a luxury lodge and club in Arizona's White Mountains.

This media cabinet is made of wormy Ponderosa pine and features juniper-twig handles, dovetail joints on the drawers and a pine root ball on the stretcher.  It can be seen in Woodland, a 3,700-square-foot fractional-ownership log home at Hidden Meadow Ranch, a luxury lodge and club in the White Mountains of Arizona.

Jigsaw Sculpture

Dining Table

Tree Trunk Sink and Wood Peg Mirror

This powder room sink is made up of a burned-out oak tree trunk from the Rodeo-Chedeski Fire impact in the Sitgreaves National Forest.  Joined to the oak is a sink/countertop made of a juniper log, completed with a marine epoxy finish.  The mirror is made of juniper twigs cut to varying lengths and joined on ends. It This powder room is featured in Woodland, a 3,700-square-foot fractional-ownership log home at Hidden Meadow Ranch, a luxury lodge and club in the White Mountains of Arizona.
